Job Summary:
The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities at the site to ensure that all work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. This role acts as a bridge between the on-site workforce and project management teams, enabling smooth workflow, timely reporting, and effective coordination with subcontractors and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all site execution activities to meet project plans and standards.
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation.
- Prepare daily work schedules and allocate tasks to teams.
- Conduct inspections and ensure material and workmanship quality.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports for management.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and labour teams.
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Identify site challenges and report them promptly to senior engineers.
- Ensure proper documentation of site activities, measurements, and progress.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following HSE procedures.
- Assist in client or consultant inspections and approvals.
Required Skills:
- Strong technical and practical knowledge in civil engineering
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards
- Basic software skills (AutoCAD, MS Excel)
Qualifications:

B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in site execution
